Researcher and supervisor of master's degree candidates. Currently holds positions including director of the Chinese Society for Plant Protection, director of the Chinese Entomological Society, and leader of the Innovation Team for Integrated Pest Management of Horticultural Pests of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Has presided over and undertaken more than 30 projects in related fields, including the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Technology System Pest Control Post, and the Shandong Provincial Fruit Technology System Pest Control. Pioneered the research and development of green prevention and control technology and organic production technology for apples. Has received 3 second-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 1 first-class Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (first place), 3 second-class Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, more than 40 national invention patents, has published more than 350 papers, compiled 12 books, and has been authorized more than 40 patents, 1 industry standard, and 10 local standards. Has cultivated more than 10 postdoctoral fellows and master's degree graduates. Has received honors such as the first National Outstanding Agricultural Scientific Research Talent, the Shandong Provincial Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions, and the title of Excellent Master's Thesis Supervisor of Shandong Agricultural University.
