Doctor of China Agricultural University and director of Jinan Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. A recipient of the State Council Special Allowance, a national-level selection for the Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project, and twice selected for the Taishan Industrial Leading Talents program. He has presided over more than 50 national and provincial-level scientific research projects, including the "12th Five-Year Plan" national science and technology support plan project "Research and industrialization demonstration of key technologies for comprehensive apple processing", the "13th Five-Year Plan" key research and development plan project "Research and demonstration of fruit and vegetable post-harvest processing and pre-cooling technology equipment", and the Taishan Industrial Leading Talents project "Industrialization and quality improvement of green processing of characteristic fruit and vegetable resources in Shandong". He has won 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (2nd place) and 28 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards; published more than 130 academic papers; and authorized 10 invention patents. He is committed to the research and application and promotion of results in fruit and vegetable storage and processing, functional component extraction and comprehensive utilization, quality analysis and evaluation, and standard formulation, and has established 10 scientific and technological achievement transformation centers in major fruit and vegetable producing areas across the country.
